According to industry sources, Hyderabad has been witnessing an increase in the demand for residential properties, especially smaller sized apartments over the last few months.

Projects which are in the stage of possession or are in the process are finding ready buyers with unit sizes ranging from 900-1,000 sq ft which have further led to a driving demand in all the micro markets.

Vijay Sarathi, Secretary, Andhra Pradesh Realtors Association (APRA) stated that  apartments with the  price range of Rs 50-60 lakh are considerably seeing an unprecedented demand as the end users believe that the market will come down along with the prices in most of the hi-tech areas of the city.

The increased demand is not just from the locals but also from outsiders seeking job because of the project’s size and price. Owing to this, few projects like Prajay Engineers Syndicate and Patel Realty have been introduced.

However, there are various developers who are planning carefully to cater this segment to the end users.  Earlier, the developers just focused in launching larger projects which were seldom in demand due to their high prices.
